Can You Afford Not To Attend The Petindex Seminars? The Pet Care Trade Association, the membership association for pet trade specialists, has a wide-ranging and exciting seminar programme in store for visitors to this year’s Petindex show, taking place at the NEC, Birmingham from 19-21 September.

‘From reptiles to creative grooming; designing a website to endo-parasites, cat welfare and pet bereavement, there’s something for everyone at this year’s event’ said Janet Nunn, Chief Executive. ‘We’ve worked hard to ensure that every sector is represented and that the topics cover issues to help strengthen your business in today’s challenging climate, and how you, as a professional, can increase your knowledge base – all with the aim of giving you that competitive edge. Can you afford not to be there?’
Groomers have a selection of grooming demonstrations and talks on specialist qualifications on offer on Sunday and Monday; retailers have an array of seminars each day to choose from to help their business, and Tuesday includes presentations that will be of particular interest to those in the pet boarding and rescue sectors.
An extra bonus at this year’s seminars is the chance for visitors who have a level-3 qualification or above to gain Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points. Visitors who are Suitably Qualified Persons (SQP) qualified can gain AMTRA CPD points, mandatory for those on the AMTRA register.
Added to this is the fact that attendance at the seminars is completely free of charge. There’s no need to book your place in the seminar room either, so visitors will have total flexibility during their time at Petindex and can combine a variety of talks with their own business networking opportunities to get the most from the day. However, the seminar room can fill up pretty quickly, so arrive early to guarantee a seat!
