Petindex Team Begins New Chapter
After three years at the helm of the pet industry's leading exhibition, Petindex show director, Daniel Thurlow has confirmed that he is starting a new chapter within Emap Connect as the organisers sponsorship director.
During his three years as Petindex’s show director, Daniel navigated a wide range of challenging economic conditions. At his departure, Petindex remains in good shape; and is set to benefit from the value-driven exhibitor initiatives and enhanced range of visitor attractions that Daniel helped introduce to assist buyers and sellers in maximising the opportunities afforded by the show.
Sam Mitcham, Petindex’s event manager, who joined the team in June, following his five year tenure as event manager of Ifsec – the world largest security trade show - will continue to head up the day-to-day sales efforts for Petindex in the lead up to and beyond the September show. His role will see him working alongside the Petindex and Glee sales teams, as well as being the key interface with Petindex exhibitor customers. Sam’s remit will also see him working closely with Petindex’s marketing manager David Langrish and operations manager Nick White to continue to enhance and grow the show.

Petindex will focus on the biggest brands, leading retail inspiration and product innovation during 2010. Key brands already confirmed include Cranswick Pet Products, Dog Rocks UK, Ezydog, GA Pet Food Partners, Gor Pets, Natural Pet Products, Scruffs, NHS4Animals and Xtra Dog LLP.
